ERA-CAPS 5th Newsletter

The ERA-CAPS network is pleased to send you its fifth newsletter announcing the adoption of a Common Data Sharing policy. Of interest is also the report of the first ERA-CAPS Grantholders’ workshop which includes all presentations and abstracts of the event. Finally, we also remind all ERA-CAPS applicants to the Second call of the full proposal stage deadline: 18 July 2014 at 12h00 CET !

NEWS AND EVENTS

	ERA-CAPS network adopts a Common Data Sharing policy The Common Data Sharing policy was adopted in order to facilitate the re-use, re-integration and repurposing of research data, for the development of new knowledge and research directions and to ensure that maximum impact is realised from ERA-CAPS funding. 	Stage two of Second ERA-CAPS call closes on 18 July 2014 The Second ERA-CAPS joint call was launched on 14 January 2014 and was organised in two stages: first, transnational consortia could submit a pre-proposal by 18 March 2014; 140 such pre-proposals were received. Read more
	ERA-CAPS grant holders meet each other in Rome for the first time. On June 12th and 13th, ERA-CAPS held its first Grant Holders’ Workshop, a meeting aimed at fostering exchanges among scientists and allowing for mutual exchanges with the funders. Read more
